Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vambola Probach kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that José Pedro Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kléberson Laguna was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Vambola Probach made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Brito. Nova Venécia-ES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Horácio Souto's late challenge caught a Nova Venécia-ES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléberson Laguna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedro Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, JFSP's Kléberson Laguna got control of the ball when Mário Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute Vambola Probach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Edinson Gentenaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Diego Botelho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléberson Laguna skillfully saved the ball. Many of Nova Venécia-ES's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Nova Venécia-ES may have spent more time on the ball, but JFSP were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
