After taking down the ball on Barrenta SC's corner Yuri Alberto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eurico Diniz quite easily take care of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Loureiro came free, but Aurelio Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Loureiro in the 15th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Aurelio Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Jânio Guimarães dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Irrintzi, 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Irrintzi. Barrenta SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Ursino Silvestre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eurico Diniz was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. When Remo Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Barrenta SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remo Falcão couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Aurelio Irrintzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário Ceresso. Eurico Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ursino Silvestre in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Barrenta SC's Aurelio Irrintzi got control of the ball when Romário Ceresso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Aurelio Irrintzi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 47 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goal looked a bit too open when Ursino Silvestre came free, but Eurico Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ursino Silvestre to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Loureiro in the 51st minute of the match. Eurico Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Messias in the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Fernandinho Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Diniz came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrenta SC's Yuri Alberto. But to his dismay, Yuri Alberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 71st minute, Adriano Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Vargas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goal looked a bit too open when Ursino Silvestre came free, but Eurico Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Ceresso in the 79th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Aurelio Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scarlet Speedster's Eurico Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Scarlet Speedster from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Ceresso in the 85th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Aurelio Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo Maia in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Irrintzi saved Barrenta SC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilvan Prata during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Prata to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Loureiro came free, but Aurelio Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Branco hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Reinaldo Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scarlet Speedster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
