Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) After 8 minutes, Toninho Arruda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monumento Sports and the Guará FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Toninho Arruda got a free kick in the 8th minute. Luís Gustavo Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Diamantino Catarinense came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Monumento Sports's Joel Lopes. But to his dismay, Joel Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute, Eliézer Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Lopes in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Monumento Sports booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Monumento Sports's Natanael Sena got control of the ball when Gino do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ivo Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiago Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gino do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guará FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gino do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Gustavo Gerber to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Figueiredo came free, but Natanael Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Diamantino Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guará FC's Diamantino Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Guará FC from getting a goal against them. Monumento Sports were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Guará FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kosta Kent took the corner. After some careless play in the Monumento Sports defense, Luís Gustavo Gerber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natanael Sena. The Monumento Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natanael Sena should have stopped the shot. Kosta Kent hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Figueiredo came free, but Natanael Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Arruda in the 86th minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bunda Brilhante hit a great ball. Gino do Vale, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Valdemar de Alcântara made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luís Gustavo Gerber however managed to control.
