A collision led to Corumbaense F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Kaká Saldanha hit a great ball. Ursino Silvestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Júlio Tróia made a huge save. In the 9th minute 俞坤朗 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corumbaense F.C.'s Júlio Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Messias in the 11th minute of play. Aurelio Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Júlio Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ursino Silvestre in the 26th minute of the match. Júlio Tróia made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Marquinhos Messias sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Tróia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ursino Silvestre. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrenta SC's Ursino Silvestre slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Júlio Tróia. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Marcelinho Peixoto got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, João Augusto Nunes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Corumbaense F.C.'s 俞坤朗 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Barrenta SC's Aurelio Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Lira in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Corumbaense F.C.'s Júlio Tróia got control of the ball when Remo Falcão tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Corumbaense F.C.'s Abd al-Asis Aba-Even nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Irrintzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 40 minutes of play, Corumbaense F.C.'s Rony Lira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Irrintzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Corumbaense F.C.'s Júlio Tróia got control of the ball when Marquinhos Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rony Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Júlio Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ursino Silvestre in the 52nd minute of the match. Rony Lira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Irrintzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Rony Lira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 54th minute. Júlio Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ursino Silvestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Lira in the 59th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Aurelio Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Pena struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Aurelio Irrintzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corumbaense F.C.. Rony Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, one of Corumbaense F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corumbaense F.C.. The referee gave Barrenta SC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yuri Alberto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Corumbaense F.C.'s Júlio Tróia. 2-3. Remo Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corumbaense F.C.'s Júlio Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ursino Silvestre in the 75th minute of play. Aurelio Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd al-Asis Aba-Even, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Messias. Aurelio Irrintzi made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Abd al-Asis Aba-Even sent off a good shot on target. Corumbaense F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tommi Toivonen in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Corumbaense F.C.'s corner Tommi Toivonen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelio Irrintzi quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Corumbaense F.C. defense, Yuri Alberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Tróia. The Corumbaense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Tróia should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Abd al-Asis Aba-Even shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Tróia. Corumbaense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marquinhos Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. The Corumbaense F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Corumbaense F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
