The coaching staff of Atlético da Colina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sidney Tavares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Atlético da Colina made a substitution. José Luis Rodrigues replaced Manoel Penha. Sidney Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Estrela Solitária's Meng Ran got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Téo de Castro made a kick off. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Gullit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Gullit in the 56th minute of the match.
