Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alessandro Félix started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Estrela Solitária's Gigi Riva got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Milosz Kluska took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Téo de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Estrela Solitária's Milosz Kluska got control of the ball when Breno Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Estrela Solitária's Ruud Gullit got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo de Castro in the 21st minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Gilberto Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Estrela Solitária was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaetano Scirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes in the game Diguinho Velloso after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Milosz Kluska. A very good opportunity. Estrela Solitária's Milosz Kluska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Félix in the 40th minute of play. Gilberto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Gaetano Scirea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruud Gullit made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Ruud Gullit rounded Buritama Sports's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. In the 56th minute Sidnei de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milosz Kluska saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milosz Kluska having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Estrela Solitária's Gilberto Paraense threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ruud Gullit, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Estrela Solitária getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cícero Abreu hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes, Buritama Sports's Diguinho Velloso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Milosz Kluska came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buritama Sports reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Buritama Sports's zone, Téo de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Paraense came out of the goal and Téo de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Diguinho Velloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milosz Kluska was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Meng Ran charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Meng Ran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Milosz Kluska showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Félix in the 78th minute of the match. Bernardo Netto's late challenge caught a Estrela Solitária's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Netto helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Milosz Kluska stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diguinho Velloso's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breno Koehler in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milosz Kluska prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Téo de Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Paraense was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Estrela Solitária succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Buritama Sports had controlled the match.
