Valdomiro Garcia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Germano Brasil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathías Queraria in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Diniz saved Tamboril from getting behind. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Mathías Queraria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Germano Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdomiro Garcia. 38 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Mathías Queraria came free, but Abelardo Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathías Queraria's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Arif Buğra Özilhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Abelardo Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga booed when Tamboril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tamboril's Abelardo Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Tamboril from getting a goal against them.
