Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Paes in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonsinho de Amaral during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of XV de Piracicaba booed when Grêmio Prudente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Couto made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Haruna Hassan sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remo Goiano got free with Thiago Couto in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Guto Lucas. 18 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Thiago Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haruna Hassan. The crowd rose to their feet as XV de Piracicaba's Ruy Paes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Couto. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. 27 minutes into the match, Haruna Hassan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto. Thiago Couto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Couto came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by XV de Piracicaba's Ruy Paes. But to his dismay, Ruy Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 33rd match minute, XV de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 최 애 to maneuver through the defense. Haruna Hassan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Couto came out and tried to block the shot, but Haruna Hassan slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. Haruna Hassan's late challenge caught a Grêmio Prudente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haruna Hassan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when XV de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haruna Hassan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haruna Hassan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Thiago Couto made a huge save. Thiago Couto stood somewhat misplaced when Haruna Hassan came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 45 minute.

After 54th play minutes Remo Goiano shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Thiago Couto and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Grêmio Prudente getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hélder Tinoco hit a great ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Wen Yong Sha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XV de Piracicaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wen Yong Sha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Haruna Hassan put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Couto. 63 minutes into the match, Haruna Hassan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Couto. Grêmio Prudente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haruna Hassan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Goiano in the 66th minute of play. Thiago Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Túlio Jacinto's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Grêmio Prudente defense, Remo Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Couto. The Grêmio Prudente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Couto should have stopped the shot. Thiago Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Goiano in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Paes came free, but Thiago Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Túlio Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruy Paes went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of XV de Piracicaba booed when Grêmio Prudente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serginho da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. XV de Piracicaba had played much better football throughout.
