Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Rodriguinho Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caetano Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Sergipano made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Zé Pedro Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Rick Cabezon got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rick Cabezon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rodriguinho Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dário Domingues hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waka Barcellos in the 25th minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rick Cabezon in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldir Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Roque, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If João Paulo Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caetano Toscano was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Domingues to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Caetano Toscano made a precise shot to the right of Rodriguinho Sergipano. Lupere FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Lupere FC - DMZ defense, Eriberto Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodriguinho Sergipano. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho Sergipano should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Rick Cabezon notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Lupere FC - DMZ's Rodriguinho Sergipano. Rodriguinho Sergipano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 62 minutes, Edmundo Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupere FC - DMZ and the Barcellos Mineiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Lupere FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguinho Sergipano came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Caetano Toscano. But to his dismay, Caetano Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 70th minute, Caetano Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodriguinho Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 74 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Loyola. In the 79th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Rick Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cláudio Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Rick Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Rodriguinho Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barcellos Mineiro FC had played much better football throughout.
