In the 5th minute, Remo Goiano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Waldir Peres. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 11th minute Remo Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Giuseppe Camargo hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Túlio Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Soares hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Haruna Hassan hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, one of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Waldir Peres made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Haruna Hassan sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Andrade. XV de Piracicaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 40th minute Alexsandro Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Goiano in the 58th minute of play. Waldir Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haruna Hassan in the 59th minute of the match. Waldir Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Goiano in the 64th minute of play. Waldir Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haruna Hassan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
