The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, OxentePaisa Salcity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Pereira to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes RØSANEGRA got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Pereira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Proença in the 20th minute of play forced OxentePaisa Salcity's goalkeeper Murilo Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Proença scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Murilo Peixoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 played minutes OxentePaisa Salcity got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Paulista. Dênis Albuquerque's late challenge caught a RØSANEGRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dênis Albuquerque helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, OxentePaisa Salcity's Dênis Albuquerque got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 35th minute, Leandro Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th match minute, RØSANEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Nabar to maneuver through the defense. Válbson Valle hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Matheus Pereira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of OxentePaisa Salcity's Murilo Peixoto. Murilo Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of RØSANEGRA booed when OxentePaisa Salcity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murilo Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Costa in the 45th minute of play. Válbson Valle's late challenge caught a RØSANEGRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Válbson Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Proença to make the kick off. Maximino Nabar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Metin Golani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the OxentePaisa Salcity defense, Leandro Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murilo Peixoto. The OxentePaisa Salcity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murilo Peixoto should have stopped the shot. RØSANEGRA made a substitution. Cristiano Romário replaced Matheus Pereira. RØSANEGRA's Prudencio Thomas was substituted for Leandro Fonseca. After 71 played minutes OxentePaisa Salcity got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Paulista. Murilo Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Afonso Proença sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the RØSANEGRA defense, Válbson Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Oihenarte. The RØSANEGRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Oihenarte should have stopped the shot. OxentePaisa Salcity's Murilo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Costa in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Prudencio Thomas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Murilo Peixoto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 95 minutes in the game, Prudencio Thomas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Murilo Peixoto having to interfere. When the match was over RØSANEGRA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than OxentePaisa Salcity throughout the match.
