Edmílson Britto stood somewhat misplaced when Igor Coronado came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. Cristian Aurre hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Edmílson Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Coronado, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Trindade Atlético Club's Edmílson Britto got control of the ball when Héctor Hernández tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trindade Atlético Club's Edmílson Britto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Trindade Atlético Club from getting a goal against them. Luís Fábio Carvalho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Sergipano in the 21st minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Toninho Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmílson Britto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ángel Romero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. Giovani Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Coronado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Trindade Atlético Club booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Héctor Hernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmílson Britto came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Ángel Romero. But to his dismay, Ángel Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Coronado in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmílson Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmílson Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Coronado in the 67th minute of the match. Edmílson Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Trindade Atlético Club booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Pereira struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Toninho Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trindade Atlético Club. 73 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ángel Romero came free, but Edmílson Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmílson Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Coronado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Britto came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Héctor Hernández. But to his dismay, Héctor Hernández quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Edu Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Thiago Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmílson Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Coronado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Hernández in the 97th minute of play forced Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Edmílson Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trindade Atlético Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MAZER SAF.
