Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexandre Jacinto kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Válbson Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cadu Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Válbson Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Weidenfeller having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Válbson Azevedo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roman Weidenfeller. The audience was convinced that Válbson Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Weidenfeller was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 19 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Allan de Almeida. A hard shot 20 in the game by Sérgio Tande from a close distance when the talented Bernardo Sousa managed to make a qualified save. Cadu Team's players were relieved. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Cadu Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Domingues to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cadu Team booed when Borussia Dortmund MZB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aníbal Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund MZB's protests and gave Aníbal Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Weidenfeller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Weidenfeller came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Cadu Team's Válbson Azevedo. But to his dismay, Válbson Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund MZB's zone, Válbson Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Weidenfeller came out of the goal and Válbson Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Weidenfeller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Alcântara came free, but Roman Weidenfeller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Weidenfeller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Azevedo in the 45th minute of the match. When Slade Wilson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Borussia Dortmund MZB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slade Wilson couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee ignored Cadu Team's protests and gave Hugo Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Hugo Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Weidenfeller made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Válbson Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Roman Weidenfeller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Cadu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Tande came free, but Bernardo Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Alexandre Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borussia Dortmund MZB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadu Team the free kick. Roman Weidenfeller stood somewhat misplaced when Válbson Azevedo came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 75 minute. After 79 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Allan de Almeida. In the 85th minute Hugo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Weidenfeller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund MZB's zone, Hugo Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Weidenfeller came out of the goal and Hugo Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Alberto Senna during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Borussia Dortmund MZB got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Senna.
