Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Décio Messias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Alagoano came free, but Cacá Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cacá Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in WAU team's zone, Hermínio Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Neves came out of the goal and Hermínio Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Rafa de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Messias in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Paulo Prata during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's José Paulo Prata got a free kick in the 18th minute. José Paulo Prata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ramón Neves made a huge save. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Renan Luz hit a great ball. Lúcio das Neves hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sipo EC's zone, Claudinei de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Maciel came out of the goal and Claudinei de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramón Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermínio Rosado in the 32nd minute. Décio Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ramón Neves made a huge save. In the 45th minute, Claudinei de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half WAU team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an all-out effort, WAU team's Cacá Maciel threw himself towards the right post 50 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dênis Tande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Laércio da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goalkeeper Cacá Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Alagoano. In the 58th minute Décio Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Porto. In the 85th minute Rafa de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermínio Rosado scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei de Alcântara came free, but Cacá Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacá Maciel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinei de Alcântara went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The WAU team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
