Marcelo Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Martins in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Brito saved Atlético Capixaba from getting behind. Marcelo Brito came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Colorado's Cesinha Meirelles. But to his dismay, Cesinha Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Erasmo Martins scored 1-7 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho França in the 64th minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Vitório Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cesinha Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinamo Colorado's protests and gave Cesinha Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Meirelles. After 82 minutes, Ciro Corrêa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Capixaba and the Dinamo Colorado players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelo Brito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erasmo Martins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 91 minute of play. A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fernandinho França hit a great ball. André Luís das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Marcelo Brito made a huge save. The Atlético Capixaba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dinamo Colorado were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
