Duarte Luz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Aymerick Orange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Diego Armando Orange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jean Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Armando Orange, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Diego Armando Orange took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jean Donato to make any attempt to save it. Erasmo Faria made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Juan Velloso however managed to control. When Diego Armando Orange came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Armando Orange couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Red John S.K's Gabriel Leme got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 30 played minutes Red John S.K got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Faria. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Faria during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erasmo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Jean Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Orange in the 38th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Breno Ceresso's late challenge caught a Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Ceresso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Red John S.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes of play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Diego Armando Orange made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean Donato was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, Pedro Luís Lima fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Chiquinho Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. When Erasmo Faria was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. The supporters of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chiquinho Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hudson dos Santos in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hudson dos Santos got free with Chiquinho Guerra in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jean Donato came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Diego Armando Orange. But to his dismay, Diego Armando Orange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hudson dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Red John S.K's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
