Patrick Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavinho Toscano's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Patrick Miranda made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Flavinho Toscano sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Viana to maneuver through the defense. Olivedos's Patrick Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho de Salles in the 23rd minute of play. Patrick Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho de Salles in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Adrianinho de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavinho Toscano in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Miranda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrianinho de Salles got free with Patrick Miranda in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Olivedos defense, Adrianinho de Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Miranda. The Olivedos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Miranda should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience was convinced that Adrianinho de Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Miranda was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Valadares hit a great ball. Diego Armando Orange hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Wilian da Rocha from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Chiquinho Guerra's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deivid Cavalcante during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dário Viana got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 74th minute, Flavinho Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Flavinho Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavinho Toscano couldn't finish the play. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Adrianinho de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80 minutes, Diego Armando Orange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ and the Olivedos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Diego Armando Orange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Adrianinho de Salles got a free kick in the 85th minute.
