In the 3rd minute Aílton Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Arantes having to interfere. Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Braga in the 11th minute of play. When Ricart Futebol Clube's Aílton Corrêa in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maicon Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maicon Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Maicon Teles hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Gilson Braga got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Torres in the 27th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fred Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Berger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Fred Capixaba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jeferson Torres hit a great ball. Dráuzio Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos da Fonseca in the 37th minute of the match. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Ricart Futebol Clube's Aílton Corrêa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd minute Cássio Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breno Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sagarana Clube's Cássio Prado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fred Capixaba. That made the score 1-1 after 46 minutes of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aílton Corrêa to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Torres came free, but Fred Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Capixaba came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Sagarana Clube's Cássio Prado. But to his dismay, Cássio Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Dráuzio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Braga in the 63rd minute of play. Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Braga in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Ricart Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Marcos da Fonseca went to the cornerflag to take it. Ricart Futebol Clube's Fred Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Arósio in the 68th minute of play. Fred Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Torres in the 69th minute of the match. Fiori Arósio scored 4-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fred Capixaba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dráuzio Arantes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Corrêa in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes got control of the ball when Marcos da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cássio Prado took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Capixaba. Fred Capixaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Fred Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Prado in the 89th minute of play. Sagarana Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
