An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Mattos in the 17th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Dráuzio Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Dino Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When César Carioca fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagarana Clube's protests and gave César Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. César Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Sagarana Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta Club U18 the free kick. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cleiton Freitas hit a great ball. Dráuzio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Mattos in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sagarana Clube's Jeferson Torres got a free kick in the 87th minute. Cássio Prado hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Mathias Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Floresta Club U18 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
