The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino de Lima got free with Luiz Fabiano Guedes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermínio Prestes's late challenge caught a Izaltina FAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. Hermínio Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Gino de Lima took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Luiz Fabiano Guedes to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Bezerra came free, but Dráusio Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Se7e booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Giovani Bezerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráusio Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Se7e getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Walmir França hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Gino de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fabiano Guedes. Se7e's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gino de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Se7e's Hermínio Prestes got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Hermínio Prestes off the ground. In the 28th match minute, Se7e was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Prestes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir França in the 41st minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Bernardo Correia got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the game, Giovani Bezerra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dráusio Oliveira. Giovani Bezerra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Dráusio Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Bezerra in the 74th minute of the match. Giovani Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Gino de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when Se7e was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. Se7e's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
