Agostinho Maraschin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eusébio Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Holm made a kick off. Agostinho Maraschin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Wellington Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Bianchini in the 54th minute of play. Eusébio Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Kolbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Agostinho Maraschin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Hoffmann. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agostinho Maraschin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséas Pombal in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Fernandes saved Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Kolbe to maneuver through the defense. Richard Lopez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wellington Fernandes. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sílvio Luiz de Andrade hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vito Ortiz.
