Zuera Never End MZC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Misericordia EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oscar Prestes took the corner. Santo Everton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Zuera Never End MZC's Santo Everton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Chute in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Diogo Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Mattos in the 18th minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Santo Everton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Bob Chute cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Santo Everton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, Caetano Mattos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zuera Never End MZC's Santo Everton. Santo Everton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Luiz Paulo Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Misericordia EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Santo Everton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Chute in the 36th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Carlos Dias managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Zuera Never End MZC's Faas Marsal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Chute in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Everton saved Zuera Never End MZC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faas Marsal was the one to do the kick off. When Zuera Never End MZC's Faas Marsal in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Misericordia EC's Carlos Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faas Marsal in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Luiz Paulo Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misericordia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Everton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Oscar Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Bob Chute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Everton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match, Bob Chute tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santo Everton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute Oscar Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Caetano Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Neiva to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Zuera Never End MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Ferraz came free, but Santo Everton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Misericordia EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
