Lucas Donnarumma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Torres in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Trancoso came free, but Carlos Augusto Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Juvenal Trancoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Recife narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juvenal Trancoso made a kick off. Lucas Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Tróia in the 58th minute of play. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Lucas Donnarumma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Hermanos CIMZ from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Hermanos CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Adolfo Mota was slow to take the kick. During this time Palmeiras's players had a chance to rest. In the 91st minute, Lucas Arboleda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If João Adolfo Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
