Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Bob Chute started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cássio Motta sped through Palestra do Interior's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. Ian Brasil's late challenge caught a Palestra do Interior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Ian Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17th play minutes Bob Chute shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Antônio Carlos Cavalcante and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Misericordia EC's zone, Serafim Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo José Rodrigues came out of the goal and Serafim Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Palestra do Interior:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Misericordia EC:s goal. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Misericordia EC. Bob Chute stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. 0-4. After 34 minutes, Bob Chute made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Meira to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Chute in the 40th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Chute in the 43rd minute of play. Caetano Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafim Simão to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Bob Chute recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. Bob Chute showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 66th minute William Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Chutes short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Antônio Carlos Cavalcante to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 71 minutes into the game, Bob Chute lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. Paulo José Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Bob Chute kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. That made the score 0-9 in the 77 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Chute in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Carlos Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Motta's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If William Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Tiaguinho Freitas got a free kick in the 87th minute. Dedé Mazer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo José Rodrigues. Misericordia EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paulo José Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Simão in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Misericordia EC's Cássio Motta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. From close distance Bob Chute pressed in the 0-11 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 95 minutes into the game.
