Alexsandro Alves made a great header on E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's corner, it was just that A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira managed to reach the ball for a save. 14 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Trigo came free, but Rodolfo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's José Pedro Donatello got control of the ball when Pedro Luís Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Trigo in the 37th minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Rodolfo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Luís Fabiano Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A A Arizona and the E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rômulo Pena to make the kick off.
