With a little luck, C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende got control of the ball when Rodrigo Garro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Léo Nascimento took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Rezende. Antônio Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when Coritiba Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's 李锋朋 got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gery Pattimura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Garro came free, but Antônio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Coritiba Foot Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Egon Boberg. 26 minutes into the match, Sebastian Pereira notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Gery Pattimura. Gery Pattimura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Montenegro in the 31st minute of play forced Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Gery Pattimura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Alex França. 35 minutes into the game, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Léo Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Rezende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After having played for 37 minutes, 李锋朋 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but 李锋朋 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, 李锋朋 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Antônio Rezende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by 李锋朋 in the 42nd minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Rodrigo Garro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. 李锋朋's late challenge caught a C.A Gryffindor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 李锋朋 helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Coritiba Foot Ball Club getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. 李锋朋 hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Pereira to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Coritiba Foot Ball Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 李锋朋 to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Garro took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Rezende. Antônio Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 58 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Nascimento came free, but Antônio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Nascimento in the 59th minute of play. Antônio Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés de Andrade's late challenge caught a Coritiba Foot Ball Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. C.A Gryffindor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Antônio Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 李锋朋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, 李锋朋 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Rezende. C.A Gryffindor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 李锋朋 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. In the 77th minute, one of C.A Gryffindor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A Gryffindor. In the 82nd minute 胡亦旭 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 胡亦旭's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Faustino Asprilla hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes of play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Rodrigo Garro made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in C.A Gryffindor's zone, 胡亦旭 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Rezende came out of the goal and 胡亦旭 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Léo Nascimento made it 12-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! 98 minutes into the match, Léo Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Rezende. C.A Gryffindor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Léo Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Coritiba Foot Ball Club had played much better football throughout.
