But to his dismay, Erasmo de Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luís Paulo Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Gino Falcão fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sacode Football CIMZ's protests and gave Gino Falcão a yellow card for diving instead. When Mário de Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jovens Democratas MZC's protests and gave Mário de Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Jovens Democratas MZC's zone, Gino Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Pinho came out of the goal and Gino Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Percival Mangueira got a free kick in the 50th minute. After some careless play in the Club Sacode Football CIMZ defense, Erasmo de Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iuri Santos. The Club Sacode Football CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iuri Santos should have stopped the shot. Club Sacode Football CIMZ made a substitution. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Henrique Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jovens Democratas MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iuri Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Jeremias Britto made a precise shot to the right of Iuri Santos. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Jovens Democratas MZC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
