Thanks to some nice moves Maicon de Amorim could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Yuri Galvan however easily saved by the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's Erasmo de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Galvan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Torino SSA's Yuri Galvan got control of the ball when Giuseppe Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodriguinho Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yuri Galvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Sousa in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Rosa during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Torino SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Júlio Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Mexhit Koçi got a free kick in the 39th minute. Abel Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Erasmo de Godoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yuri Galvan came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo de Godoi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeff Waters stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torino SSA's Yuri Galvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Dracena in the 54th minute of play. Giuseppe Negri took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Galvan. Yuri Galvan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Erasmo de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jovens Democratas MZC's Jeremias Britto was substituted for Maicon de Amorim. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Marco Polo replaced Rodriguinho Vander. If Henrique Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Galvan in the 70th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Murillo Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Giuseppe Negri fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jovens Democratas MZC's protests and gave Giuseppe Negri a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Negri. A collision led to Torino SSA getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Júlio Rosa hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Erasmo de Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Galvan. Torino SSA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Torino SSA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
