Murillo Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murillo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 10th minute of play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Erasmo de Godoi sped through Galo do Japi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Sabino. With a little luck, Jovens Democratas MZC's Murillo Pinho got control of the ball when Gene Simons tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giuseppe Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Murillo Pinho made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gene Simons sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Murillo Pinho. The goal made the score 1-1. After 34 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Dracena. Armando Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Vander in the 38th minute of play. Gene Simons could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Murillo Pinho made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Pinheiro in the 41st minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Murillo Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo de Godoi came free, but Armando Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Vander in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Erasmo de Godoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 59th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Murillo Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Pinheiro. Jovens Democratas MZC's Murillo Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 64th minute of play. Murillo Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gene Simons, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Jeferson Nóbrega made a precise shot to the right of Murillo Pinho. Jovens Democratas MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Jovens Democratas MZC's zone, Gene Simons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Pinho came out of the goal and Gene Simons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Polo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Armando Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Negri in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Camel Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Polo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Sabino having to make a save. With a little luck, Galo do Japi's Armando Sabino got control of the ball when Abel Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Fernandinho Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Murillo Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Mexhit Koçi got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
