When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wilson Quadros. With a little luck, BRASIL.Sp's Wilson Quadros got control of the ball when Ateş Direnç tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Vaz came free, but Gustavo Gustavson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Ateş Direnç got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermín Buendia to strike the kick off in the second half.
