After having played for 3 minutes, Edgard Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The tension between the Clube do Remo MZ and the Goiás Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 minutes, Afonso Paraíba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube do Remo MZ and the Goiás Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afonso Paraíba hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Edgard Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiaguinho Netto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Mané Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Afonso Paraíba got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 28 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Paraíba. The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan da Silveira in the 33rd minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Mané Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Clube do Remo MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Secco to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Pena came free, but Mané Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar de Moraes got free with Tiaguinho Netto in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar de Moraes in the 55th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Edgard Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to Clube do Remo MZ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gil Secco hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Edgard Cabral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiaguinho Netto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto got control of the ball when Valdir Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fernando Pena hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Goiás Esporte Clube's Valdir Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tiaguinho Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Edgard Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
