Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raimundo Camargo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Maximiliano Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Camargo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Teodoro Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capibaribe Stars. Danilo Teixeira hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Tadeu da Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Teodoro Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Xande Cachorro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Paulo da Floresta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Capibaribe Stars's Eliseu de Brito got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto got control of the ball when Tadeu da Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xande Cachorro took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Queiroz. Sérgio Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximiliano Pardo to make the kick off. Pedro Luiz Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Jacinto having to interfere. Fabinho Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Sérgio Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xande Cachorro in the 54th minute. Danilo Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Xande Cachorro struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Maximiliano Pardo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Sérgio Queiroz 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Serginho Koehler hit a great ball. São Paulo da Floresta made a substitution. Igor Netto replaced Nilmar Fontes. After 65 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Koehler. Danilo Teixeira hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Figueiredo. Sérgio Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Pardo in the 71st minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Sérgio Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sérgio Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Pardo in the 75th minute of the match. Ekrem İmamoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sérgio Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, São Paulo da Floresta's Xande Cachorro made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Pardo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Queiroz saved Capibaribe Stars from getting behind. Sérgio Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Maximiliano Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Paulo da Floresta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Fabinho Vasconcelos hit a great ball. With a little luck, Capibaribe Stars's Sérgio Queiroz got control of the ball when Xande Cachorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. São Paulo da Floresta played a much better game than Capibaribe Stars and deserved their victory. The Capibaribe Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
