With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvinho Berger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th match minute, Capivariano F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Dante to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Afonso Paraíba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvinho Berger was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Silvinho Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Doni Donato almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Netto did a great save. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nestor Dante came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Capivariano F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Dante couldn't finish the play. Silvinho Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson de Carvalho in the 32nd minute of play. Tiaguinho Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Fonseca in the 33rd minute of the match. Martins Souza Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tiaguinho Netto made a huge save. Nestor Dante in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. A collision led to Capivariano F.C. getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Kiko Bonito hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Clube do Remo MZ's Joélson de Carvalho in action when he in the 99th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
