In the 3rd minute, one of Classe A Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Classe A Futebol Clube. Doriva Simão had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Juan de Almeida's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sven-Olof Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. João Augusto Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Classe A Futebol Clube's Doriva Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Tande in the 11th minute of play. Maurinho Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 minutes of play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Tarzan Boy made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Augusto Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Juan de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Augusto Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Salah, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Allan Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Olof Blomqvist took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Quintal. João Augusto Quintal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 35th minute Sven-Olof Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Doriva Simão made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Adrianinho Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Toninho Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSHIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The MUSHIBA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Classe A Futebol Clube were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurinho Valadares was the one to do the kick off. When Claudinho Tande came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the MUSHIBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Tande couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Blomqvist came free, but João Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Sven-Olof Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Blomqvist in the 62nd minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Valadares came free, but Doriva Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Olof Blomqvist. In the 70th minute Mohamed Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Maurinho Valadares notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Classe A Futebol Clube's Doriva Simão. Doriva Simão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MUSHIBA FC's João Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Blomqvist in the 76th minute of play. Sven-Olof Blomqvist took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Quintal. João Augusto Quintal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. João Augusto Quintal was a little too slow when Tarzan Boy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-4.
