The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingo Schwichtenberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s Ingo Schwichtenberg got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Mario Duplantier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ogro F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mario Duplantier might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvinho Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Duplantier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Mario Duplantier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Osmar Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Eger in the 20th minute of play. When Ogro F.C.'s Cuca Teixeira in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Capivariano F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Rodriguinho Corrêa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Silvinho Berger came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ogro F.C.'s Mario Duplantier. But to his dismay, Mario Duplantier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Capivariano F.C.'s Silvinho Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Duplantier in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ingo Schwichtenberg hit a great ball. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingo Schwichtenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Arce. After 48 minutes of play, Capivariano F.C.'s Nestor Dante made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osmar Maciel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ogro F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cuca Teixeira made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Martins Souza Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ogro F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doni Donato was slow to take the kick. During this time Capivariano F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Tico Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Silvinho Berger made a huge save. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rodriguinho Corrêa hit a great ball. Ogro F.C.'s Osmar Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Souza Pereira in the 70th minute of play. Capivariano F.C. were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Ogro F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doni Donato took the corner. Silvinho Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tico Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Capivariano F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Bonito to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the match Tico Torres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvinho Berger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvinho Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tico Torres in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cuca Teixeira came free, but Silvinho Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osmar Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Silvinho Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Duplantier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvinho Berger made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Tico Torres sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tico Torres in the 89th minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvinho Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
