Renan da Fonseca started the match with the kick off. CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Iker Boruc 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Harry Kane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Boruc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Gustavo Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Siqueira in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Siqueira in the 29th minute of play forced ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Gustavo Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Renan da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Renan da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Luís Gustavo Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Raúl Breckenfeld kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harry Kane. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 41st match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Juan Pablo Sorin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renan da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iker Boruc to make the kick off. The throw-in from Dráusio da Silveira in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Anaking Skywalker. In the 56th minute, Dorian Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Iker Boruc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Kane was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Luís Gustavo Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan da Fonseca in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Leite to maneuver through the defense. Harry Kane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Boruc in the 80th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Iker Boruc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Harry Kane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ defense, Ye Xiang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Gustavo Prestes. The ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Gustavo Prestes should have stopped the shot.
