The Club Atlético Escocia fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Club Atlético Escocia's Leonel Caponi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Leonel Caponi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Nahas in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Tristan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Leonel Caponi put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rene Tristan. Enrique Astrada hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Nahas in the 31st minute of play. Rene Tristan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Caponi's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 38 minutes, Facundo Nahas made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmiro Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Leonel Caponi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Tristan having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Leonel Caponi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Rene Tristan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Leonel Caponi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rene Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Paulin in the 58th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Delmiro Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Justo Berto got a free kick in the 61st minute. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Nahas in the 65th minute of play. Club Atlético Escocia's Delmiro Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Matthew in the 66th minute of play. Filiberto Tolino's late challenge caught a C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Tristan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Facundo Nahas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Tristan. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Facundo Nahas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Rene Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Nahas in the 84th minute of the match. 1-9 became the score in the 88th minute when Facundo Nahas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leonel Caponi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rene Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Club Atlético Escocia's Facundo Nahas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Caponi got free with Rene Tristan in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Club Atlético Escocia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE throughout the match.
