A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Generoso Calvino hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in El Patriarca ®'s zone, Nicolas Cordarryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Iban came out of the goal and Nicolas Cordarryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jonas Loreto hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Francisco Berdoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Iliana. After 20 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Loreto. Nicolas Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Casimiro Pacorro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Casimiro Pacorro hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Hector Cordarell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcial Iliana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Berdoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Mannuel in the 52nd minute of the match. After 56 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Calvino. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when El Patriarca ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Jerano to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, El Patriarca ®'s Leopoldo Mannuel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Berdoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cipriano Iban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Cordarryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Hector Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Iban having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Dario Jerano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Cosa Nostra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Patriarca ® the free kick. In the 85th minute, one of La Cosa Nostra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Cosa Nostra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Cordarell in the 94th minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Cipriano Iban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Lisandro Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
