The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonides Normando kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Atilano Monico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Argentina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Platense the free kick. After 11 played minutes Juventus Argentina FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Monico. Bernabe Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Galindo in the 12th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Angelino Galindo made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Vito. Juventus Argentina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Juventus Argentina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Normando came free, but Bernabe Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Platense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iker Sotil in the 27th minute. The corner led Leon Platense's Alejandro Otsoko to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernabe Vito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 32 minutes, Angelino Galindo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Juventus Argentina FC's Bernabe Vito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Juventus Argentina FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Atilano Monico hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Camilo Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Leon Platense were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Ramond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juventus Argentina FC's Bernabe Vito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Argentina FC from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Bonifacio Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Juventus Argentina FC defense, Angelino Galindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe Vito. In the 90th minute, Victorino Cefero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Ixona came free, but Cecilio Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
