Hector Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Bernardino Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Atletico Saladillo FC's Isidoro Regis got control of the ball when Benito Cutberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardino Frisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Regis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Cutberto in the 23rd minute. Atletico Saladillo FC's Isidoro Regis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Saladillo FC from getting a goal against them. Emiliano Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Frisco in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Hector Ferrer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Veto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 37 minutes into the game, Teodoro Quilino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Saladillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Scaloneta the free kick. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when Atletico Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Quilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benito Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Teodoro Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Ferrer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Odon came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emiliano Veto could save by the left post. After 55 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Fagondo. In the 58th minute, Jeronimo Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Ubaldo Lidon got a free kick in the 66th minute. Emiliano Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Saladillo FC's Bernardino Frisco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emiliano Veto. That made the score 0-2 after 68 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Araoz in the 71st minute of play forced Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Araoz in the 72nd minute of the match. Benito Cutberto kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ambrosio Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Ferrer in the 85th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Emiliano Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Regis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. La Scaloneta's Gustavo Araoz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Gustavo Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atletico Saladillo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
