In the 30th minute Ladislao Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Navarro got free with Virgilio Kiliz in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Lehior charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elpidio Lehior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the game, Gogo Iratzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vélez Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA PANDILLA LOCA the free kick. In the 71st minute, Gogo Iratzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, LA PANDILLA LOCA's Ezequiel Modestio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Virgilio Kiliz was a little too slow when Maximino Navarro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-10. Vélez Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
