After 11 minutes, Hernan Urtsin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suipacha FC and the Catarinense F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernan Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Leonardo Arce dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Gaitan, 2-0. Leonardo Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Benicio Gaitan made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Hernan Urtsin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Urtsin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Bemabe in the 24th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Gaitan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelino Hegoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 26 minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Carlos Markel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benicio Gaitan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benicio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Rocendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Rocendo. 39 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Hegoi came free, but Benicio Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Arce was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hernan Urtsin notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th minute, Carlos Markel made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute Alfredo Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Suipacha FC's Carlos Markel made it 14-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Gaitan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Catarinense F.C. defense, Pascual Rocendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Gaitan. The Catarinense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Gaitan should have stopped the shot. Angelino Hegoi took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-1. In the 94th minute, Angelino Hegoi made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-1. There was no doubt that Suipacha FC were the better team. Suipacha FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
