Artemio Tibalt came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diego Xabel could save by the left post. Severo Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Cordearo having to interfere. Artemio Tibalt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Diego Xabel made a huge save. Franco Mastantuono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Diego Xabel made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Isidoro Godoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Xabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Isidoro Godoy took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Diego Xabel to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Goiz during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Goiz. After 21 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Germán Pezzella. 3-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Artemio Tibalt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Diego Xabel made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Artemio Tibalt sent off a good shot on target. Diadema's Diego Xabel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Diadema from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Diadema's goalkeeper Diego Xabel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Tibalt. Diadema's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Artemio Tibalt scored to the left of an out of position Diego Xabel, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Diego Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Tibalt in the 55th minute of play. Diego Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Tibalt in the 59th minute of the match. Diego Xabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Tibalt went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Diadema's Clodoveo Cebrian got a free kick in the 65th minute. Diadema's Diego Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Godoy in the 67th minute of play. Cristobal Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Diadema's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Tibalt came free, but Diego Xabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Isidoro Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Diadema defense, Isidoro Godoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Xabel. The Diadema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Xabel should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute Artemio Tibalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SOUTH THUNDER's attack was well implemented in the 80th minute, but when Artemio Tibalt was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Hilario Isias hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Diadema's Diego Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Tibalt in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Franco Mastantuono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that SOUTH THUNDER were the better team. SOUTH THUNDER's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
