La Acade's Gregorio Blai shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Genaro Handi but with some difficulty. 35 minutes into the match, Nemesio Maiorga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Acade's Nestor Socorro. Nestor Socorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Acuña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Acade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bancruz F.C the free kick. The supporters of Bancruz F.C booed when La Acade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Mogel made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Astigar. A collision led to Bancruz F.C getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Inocencio Astigar hit a great ball. Genaro Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Lander charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Lander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A well-hit corner resulted in Gregorio Blai heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jonas Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Genaro Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match Bancruz F.C got a corner. La Acade's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nemesio Maiorga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bancruz F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
