Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascual Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Heriberto in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ruben Maurin hit a great ball. With his leg Ramiro Nicholas managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Bairoletto FC's Leonides Asteri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Santo got free with Ramiro Nicholas in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 42 minutes, Leonides Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bairoletto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Asteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pascual Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Leo Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bairoletto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrilete Cósmico FC the free kick. After the first half Barrilete Cósmico FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ruben Maurin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Bartolome in the 59th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Joachim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Pascual Demario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lázaro Cesario hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Anier Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bairoletto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Berriotxoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Bartolome in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Aquiles Bartolome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Patrido charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
