Filiberto Derwin scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Librado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Vela, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Tomás Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Efraim might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimiro Charro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Efraim ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute Filiberto Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Librado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Rafe during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Villa Ballester FC's Lucas Rafe got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Villa Ballester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Moise came free, but Edgardo Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Clementi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Ramiro Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Librado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Moise in the 27th minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Clementi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Vladimiro Charro made a huge save. When Arsenio Efraim came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Villa Ballester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Efraim couldn't finish the play. Edgardo Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Moise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Moise in the 39th minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Villa Ballester FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alejandro Preda hit a great ball. Edgardo Librado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Azeari went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Arsenio Efraim made the kick off in the second half. Filiberto Derwin's late challenge caught a Villa Ballester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Derwin helped the player get up and apologised. Edgardo Librado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ramiro Moise showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. Arsenio Efraim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Charro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Saverio Beat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Ballester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Beat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 minutes of play, Seclantas AFC's Cecilio Vela made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Librado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Seclantas AFC defense, Tomás Clementi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Charro. The Seclantas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Charro should have stopped the shot. Saverio Beat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vladimiro Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Villa Ballester FC's Edgardo Librado got control of the ball when Ulises Azeari tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Filiberto Derwin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgardo Librado. That made the score 1-5 in the 88 minute of play. Marciano Martinez charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Martinez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Marciano Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Derwin in the 95th minute of the match. The Seclantas AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Seclantas AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
