But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Clementi couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind AL TOKE FC's goalkeeper Albano Betadur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villa Ballester FC's Arsenio Efraim got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Clementi struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Albano Betadur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Ballester FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Clementi in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Betadur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgardo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Seguinus in the 38th minute of the match. Alejandro Preda hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Estebe in the 42nd minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Seguinus, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Edgardo Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Abastas in the 46th minute of the match. Alberto Romelio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Villa Ballester FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The referee ignored AL TOKE FC's protests and gave Alberto Romelio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AL TOKE FC's Alberto Romelio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With his leg Edgardo Librado managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when AL TOKE FC's Eloy Seguinus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
