Carlos Lawrence's late challenge caught a Rossobianco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rebentala FC's Elpidio Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Hartz in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Jaunti in the 21st minute of play forced Rossobianco's goalkeeper Tang Cheng Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tang Cheng Zhen having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Andrew Sinclair scored 0-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tang Cheng Zhen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77thth minute of the game Santo Ganix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rossobianco's Tang Cheng Zhen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tang Cheng Zhen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Ganix's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Teobaldo Gutierrez made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Andrew Sinclair however managed to control.
