The tension between the Cura del Futbol and the La Pachorra LSF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aldo Lauro charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Lauro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when La Pachorra LSF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Leoncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Quintyn having to interfere. In the 36th minute Aldo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Jorrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Jacobo Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
