Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Lawrence took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Carlos Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebentala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Lawrence was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Jorrin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Rebentala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Santikurtz came free, but Elpidio Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes Rebentala FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Faustino Cordaryal who took care of the corner kick. Honorato Jorrin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Jaunti in the 12th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Honorato Jorrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Rosalio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Pancho was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Rebentala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Cleto Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Jaunti in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Jorrin saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. Honorato Jorrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Pancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Santikurtz in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Carlos Lawrence made a precise shot to the right of Honorato Jorrin. Cura del Futbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Rebentala FC's Elpidio Pancho got control of the ball when Melquiades Rosalio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Rosalio to make the kick off. Bernardino Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Honorato Jorrin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorato Jorrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Abelardo Benitez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rebentala FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cura del Futbol the free kick. In the 60th minute, Abelardo Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cura del Futbol's zone, Carlos Lawrence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Jorrin came out of the goal and Carlos Lawrence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Pancho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Santikurtz's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Bernardino Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Honorato Jorrin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rebentala FC made a substitution. Santo Ganix replaced Carlos Lawrence. 82 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Ganix came free, but Honorato Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Jaunti in the 85th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Honorato Jorrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Pancho having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Santo Ganix lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Honorato Jorrin. The Rebentala FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rebentala FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
